New Britain – Ms. Danielle Marie Martone, 20, of New Britain and Thomaston, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut after an extended illness.

Danielle was born on December 18, 1996 in Waterbury. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. Danielle enjoyed watching Duke Basketball games with her father, cheerleading, shopping, swimming and animals. She will always be remembered as being family oriented and cherished the time she was able to spend with her many cousins, and especially her sweet niece Sofia Danielle. Danielle also enjoyed snowmobiling while vacationing in Vermont and four wheeling though the reservoir with her father and brother.

Danielle is survived by her parents, Daniel Martone and Loreen LeClair and her fiancé Jeffery Forte, both of Thomaston; her brother Cameron Martone; her maternal grandparents Ernest and Janice LeClair; maternal great-grandparents Rolande LeClair and Dean Bates; her special friend John “Uncle JJ” Jablonski; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents Michael and Frances Martone.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 21st at 6:00 P.M. at The Lyceum in Terryville, 181 Main St., Terryville. A dinner will follow the services. Burial will be held privately.
