Edith enjoyed knitting, crocheting, solving crossword puzzles and was best known for her baking, especially her “homemade cookies,” “pie dough” and “baking powder biscuits.” She loved swimming at the Torrington YMCA.

She always put her children first.

Rockhill, Jr and his wife Jacqueline; two daughters, Martha Mannion and her husband Christopher and Donna Masciangioli and her husband Jim; one brother, Anthony Scatena; one sister, Catherine St. Pierre; her loving grandchildren, Matthew and his fiancé Melissa, Annie and Daniel; one great-grandson, Dean; her cat, Reily and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rocco, Ned and his wife Rose, (whom she also considered as her sister,) her sister, Marie and her faithful dog Foxy.
