Thomaston- Mr. Albet C. Skerstonas, 87, of Walnut Hill Rd. died Saturday, March 15 at his home. He was the husband of Frances (Stamm) Skerstonas. Mr. Skerstonas was born November 1, 1920 in Thomaston son of the late Charles and Rose (Tomasaitis) Skerstonas. Raised in Thomaston he attended local schools and drove truck for Yankee Milk. All his life he enjoyed working in the yard, he loved eating and helping his wife with chores around the house. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sisters, his twin sister Isabelle Schwarze of IL and Mildred Chepulis of Thomaston and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, George Skerstonas and one sister, Della Smiekus. Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church.
