Torrington Mrs. Alice (Lesieur) Little, 101, formerly of Thomaston, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, at Wolcott Hall in Torrington. She was the widow of George Little, Sr. Alice was born May 22, 1922, in Burlington, CT, daughter of the late Frank and Celina (Marais) Lesieur. She was a longtime resident of Thomaston and was an active parishioner of St. Thomas Church. She will be remembered as the CEO of the family, enjoyed cooking, country music, playing cards, home made doughnuts (Sinkers) and popcorn balls. Alice welcomed everyone into her home for family dinners and wintered in Florida for over forty years. She is survived by one daughter, Jeanne Eichner of Torrington; three sons, Michael Little of FL, James Little of FL and Patrick Little and his wife Heather of Thomaston; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her son, George Little, Jr and ten siblings. Calling hours are Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
