Torrington- Mrs. Alvina (Selnau) Fraser, 99, formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, December 9, at Litchfield Woods Health Care in Torrington. She was the widow of Donald S. Fraser, Sr.
Mrs. Fraser was born November 17, 1910 in Bristol daughter of the late Adolf and Marianna (Flamang) Selnau. She had worked for New Departure and the Ingraham Clock Co. She was a member and past matron of Electra Chapter #12 O.E.S. and was a member of the First Congregational Church of Thomaston.
She is survived by two sons, John S. Fraser and his wife Annie of East Litchfield and Stuart Fraser and his wife Ellen of Bonita Springs, Fl; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by tow brothers, two sisters and her grandson, John S. Fraser, Jr.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church of Thomaston. The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be in the spring in the Hillside Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lyons Funeral Home of Thomaston.
