Mrs. Ann T. Guarnieri - 72, of Marine Street, died at home, March 19, 2008. She was the wife of Francis Dorazio. Mrs. Guarnieri was born August 29, 1935 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Louis Joseph and Catherine (McGuinness) Guarnieri. She was a graduate of Thomaston High School and during that time, Seth Thomas Clock picked seven of the best students to work for them and she was one of them. She worked for many years as a secretary. She went on to work in the payroll department at Waterbury Hospital and retired after 28 years. She was born to play music; Ann played the organ and piano. She was the organist at St. Thomas Church for twenty years and had a choir of fifteen people. She also played at the Methodist Church for four years. Besides the music that she loved she enjoyed camping in the New England area with her husband. Ann was a member of St Thomas Church where she was baptized, and later married Francis, Father John performed the ceremony. Besides her husband of ten years she was survived by seven stepchildren and fourteen step grandchildren. Arrangements: Funeral will be Monday directly at St. Thomas Church for a Mass at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Thomaston. There are no calling hours. Lyons Funeral Home has care of Mrs. Guarnieri.
