Mrs. Anna M. Vitzoski THOMASTON Anna M. Vitzoski, 98, of Stumpf Ave., died February 11, 2008 at CharlotteHungerfordHospital. She was the widow of Edward P. Vitzoski. Mrs. Vitzoski was born September 20, 1909, in Torrington, to the late Joseph and Josephine (Motylewski) Galcenski. Anna attended schools in Torrington, retired from the Torrington Co. in 1967. Was a member of St. Thomas Church, she was a Regent and past member of McGivney Circle, Daughters of Isabella of Thomaston for years, a member and active officer of Thomaston Senior Council and former Treasurer of the Council. Anna volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile. She is survived by a brother; Arthur Gal of Avon, a sister; Clementina Pelchat of Torrington and several nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by two sisters, Genevieve Abraham and Cecilia Piechocki. Arrangements: Friends and family are asked to gather at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street Thomaston, at 9:15A.M., Thursday, for procession to St. Thomas Church for a Mass at 10:00 A.M. Calling Hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in the spring at St. Thomas Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made, in her name, to St. Thomas Church.
