Mr. Arthur E. Boucher, 82, died peacefully at his home while surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle with many illnesses. He passed on Tuesday, October 12, 2010. He was the husband to Theresa (Muccino) Boucher.
Arthur was born in Waterbury on January 30, 1929 to the late Alfred and Delia (Oulette) Boucher. He was a Korean War veteran while serving in the US Army. He retired from Raymonds Bakery in Waterbury after working there for many years. He truly enjoyed life as he played golf, duckpin bowling, cards, softball and had a lot of pride when caring for his lawn. Arthur and Theresa lived in Prospect for many years and were parishioners of St. Anthonys Church up until their move to Thomaston.
Besides his wife Theresa, he is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Boucher of Florida, Kim (Boucher) LeBlond and son-in-law, Gary LeBlond of Thomaston, Beverly Boucher of Thomaston, a sister Bertha Gorman, of Georgia, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Roland, Armand and Raymond, five sisters, Jean Sousa, Irene Lanouette, Florence Oliver, Lillian DAngelo and Cecile, Murphy.
Arrangements: A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. till 10:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St, Thomaston, CT. Mass will be at St. Thomas Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
