Barbara C. (Prianti) Cote Thomaston Barbara Cote, 49, of Meadow Street, died Monday April 20, 2009 at her home. She was the wife to Stephen Cote. Barbara was born in Long Island, New York on November 6, 1959, daughter to Joseph Sgroi and the late Margaret (Wilcox). In earlier years she obtained a business degree and later became a Medical Assistant but spent most of her time and devotion to her family. Mainly she liked to spend her time with her friends and family, especially Aaron. She was a big fan of Billy Joel and would not miss a concert. Besides her husband and father, she is survived by a daughter Melissa Smith and her husband Daniel of Naugatuck, two brothers, Robert Sgroi of New York, James Sgroi of California, a grandson Aaron, several nieces and nephews and a very dear friend Loretta Prianti. She was predeceased by her mother and a brother Joseph Sgroi Jr. Arrangements: Friends may gather Friday April, 24 at 9:15 A.M. for a Service at 10:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston.
