Thomaston -Barbara Ann Fox, 69, of High Street Extension, died Thursday, October 10, 2009 at Cook Willow Heath Center. She was the widower of Kenneth Owen Fox Jr. Mrs. Fox was born April 13, 1940, in Glens Falls, NY, daughter of the late Allen W. and Katherine M. (Wall) Taft, She spent many family vacations on York Beach in Maine where she loved to spend time with her family. Barbara was a devoted wife and mother to five children. She spent time preparing meals for family and dear friends. Also she was a member of the United Methodist Church of Thomaston. She is survived by three sons; Kenneth Owen Fox III of Thomaston, Steven and Penelope Fox of Thomaston, Scott D. Fox of Thomaston, two daughters, Susan and Jeffery Peterson of Thomaston, Dawn Stager of Thomaston, three brothers, Robert, Donald and David Taft, two sisters, Sharon Cote, Nancy LaBarge, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Sandy Wendland. Arrangements: Friends may meet directly at the United Methodist Church of Thomaston on Sunday for a service at 3:00 P.M.
