Thomaston Bernice F. Noreikis Sanzeri, 88, a longtime resident, passed away on Saturday April 24, 2010 while surrounded by her family at Wolcott View Manor. Bernice was born on April 17, 1922 in Middlebury to the late Joseph and Frances Noreikis. She was a past employee at Iselis, Seth Thomas Clock and Thomaston Midtown. She was a former member of the Thomaston Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary. Bernice found enjoyment in knitting, crocheting and working outside in the flower garden. She had loved her family greatly. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Sanzeri of Thomaston, Vincent Sanzeri of New York, a daughter, Barbara Krol of Wolcott, a godchild, Elenor Willette, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Bernice was predeceased by a longtime companion Jim Daly, a son, Joe Valaitis, four brothers, Steve, Charlie, Joseph, Ernest, two sisters, Alice Melnick and Frances Forino.
