Plymouth – Biru Lin Xu, 86, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025. She was the devoted wife of Xian Lai Xu.

Born on August 29, 1938, in Huilai, China, Biru was the daughter of the late Shi Lin and Qi Xiang Tong. Her life was marked by strength, resilience, and a deep love for her family.

Biru was known for her vibrant spirit and joy in life. She especially loved spending time at the beach and visiting the casino—simple pleasures that brought her happiness and many cherished memories with her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband, Xian Lai Xu; her five children; five cherished grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other dear family members.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, August 30, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 8:45 a.m., all at Lyons funeral home.

Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Terryville.

Biru will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
