Southington Brenda Lee (Williams) Brooks, 35, formerly of Thomaston, passed away on Monday, September 25, at her home. She was the wife of Tyler J. Brooks and life partner of Kristine Gleason. Brenda was born November 9, 1987 in Bristol, daughter of Millisa M. (Jennings) Castagna of Terryville and the late Scott E. Williams. Raised in Thomaston, she attended local schools and Thomaston High School before enrolling in the Job Corps. She loved her job as a truck dispatcher for the Performance Food Group. In addition to her husband Tyler, life partner Kristine and her mother Millisa, Brenda is survived by her son, Nathanial S. Williams of Bristol; her daughter, Emmalyn K. Brooks of Terryville; her sister, Krystal K. Castagna of Southington; her maternal Grandfather, John Lamb of Sharon; her paternal grandmother, Linda Williams of Terryville and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her father she was predeceased by her Paternal grandfather, Carlton Williams. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 3, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 P.M. at the Hillside cemetery in Thomaston.
