Thomaston- Mrs. Catherine (Garbera) Booth, 87, died Friday evening, September 28 at the Bristol Hospital. She was the widow of Chandler Booth.
Mrs. Booth was born September 25, 1920 in Stevens Point, PA daughter of the late Alex and Theodocia (Hubic) Garbera. She was a member of the Plymouth Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses for 36 years. She had retired form the Black Rock School in Thomaston after many years.
She is survived by four sons, John Booth of Thomaston, Carlton Booth of Thomaston, Chandler Booth of Terryville and Clyde Booth of Northfield; one brother, Harry Garbera of Richfield Springs, NY; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Arrangements: A memorial talk will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 526 Main St. Plymouth. Calling hours are Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street, Thomaston. Burial in Hillside Cemetery is private.
