Thomaston- Mrs. Charlotte Therese Laura (Guertin) Johnson, 82, of Oak St., formerly of Northfield,died Friday, February 22 at the Alzheimers Resource Center in Southington. She was the widow of John Robert Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was born March 8, 1925 in Waterbury daughter of the late Wilbrod and Caroline (Laneville) Guertin. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing cards and making puzzles. She is survived by three sons, Robert and his wife Janice of Northfield, Roger and his wife Connie of Harwinton and Ronald and his wife Kathleen of Litchfield; three daughters, Denise and her husband Robert Russett of Terryville, Susan C. Ventresca and her husband Harry Grant of Port St. Lucie, FL and Southington and Rita and her husband John Brown of Thomaston; one brother, Roger Guertin and his wife Jennie of Waterbury; and her grandchildren, Michael and Bruce Watts, Jill (Johnson) Bongiolatti, Jeffrey Johnson, Michael and Marcy Ventresca, Laurie (Johnson) Macarczyk, Jenna and Rachel Johnson, Tina Martin, George Noble, Robert, Paul and Rhonda Russett.; twenty three great grandchildren and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Annette (Guertin) Kenneweg and a brother, Louis Guertin. Arrangements: Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, Thomaston. Burial will be in the spring in Northfield Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
