Thomaston - Cheryl G. (McNamee) Waldron, 70, of Thomaston, passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2015 while vacationing on Cape Cod.
Cheryl was born on August 23, 1945 in Fort Fairfield, Maine, daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Audia) McNamee. Cheryl was a lover of all animals and a strong advocate for their welfare. She worked as an Animal Control Officer in Thomaston for over 25 years. Cheryl belonged to the Animal Rescue foundation in Plymouth, was a volunteer at the little guild of St. Francis in Cornwall, and was on the Thomaston Library board for a number of years.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Mark Waldron and his wife Maria of California; three grandchildren, Adriana, Angelina, and Abigail; and six brothers and sisters, Wanda Buys of Ohio, Joyce Kelley of Arizona, Sandra Bruscino of Thomaston, Terry McNamee of Colorado, Michael B. McNamee of Florida, and Robert McNamee of Thomaston.
According to Cheryls wishes, are funeral services will be held privately.
