Thomaston - Mrs. Claire (Taylor) Tash, 91, died Tuesday, July 30, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Harold Tash. Mrs. Tash was born June 7, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Shore) Taylor. She was raised in Washington D.C. and was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She had resided in Florida for 20 years and has lived in Thomaston for the past 8 years. She is survived by one son, Ellis Tash and his wife Karol of FL; one daughter, Marilyn Duffany and her husband Larry of Thomaston; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements: Calling hours will be held this evening, Wednesday, July 31, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston, with a service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be held in the Star of David Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL on Sunday, August 4.
