Thomaston Cora Jean Ann (Cahill) Lumbard, 70, of Thomaston, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was the widow of Mr. Donald Lumbard. Cora was born on October 4, 1946 in Presque Isle, Maine, daughter of the late Stephen and Irene (Marquis) Cahill. Cora loved arts and crafts, and crocheting. She also enjoyed helping Veterans by making and donating lap blankets. She also loved listening to country music. Cora is survived by her six children, James Smail, Lorrie Smail-Morris, Donald Lumbard, Jr., Norma Marsh, Scott Smail and his wife Carrie, and Catherine Atwood and her husband Jeffrey; three sisters, Alberta ONeil, Norma Pinette, and Linda Cahill; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston. There are no calling hours.
