Cynthia A. McDermott, 71, of Bethlehem, CT passed away suddenly, but peacefully, in the arms of her husband of 55 years, Myles, on November 10th, 2024. Cynthia was born on August 29th, 1953, to Myron and Helen Kohanski. Cynthia worked as a librarian at the Bethlehem Public Library where she led a monthly book group and enjoyed making the witty displays. Cynthia was an avid reader, never turning down a title or subject. Cynthias calling in this life, though, was being a mother. Cynthia loved her daughter, Mira, and ensured she provided unconditional love every day. Cynthia is survived by her husband Myles, her daughter, Mira and husband Tim of Berlin, her sisters, Constance and husband Nick, Marion, nieces Jennifer and husband Matt and Laura and husband Richard, and daughter Grace, and nephew Charles.
