Thomaston David E. Crannell, 54, passed away on November 6. 2020. David was born in Waterbury on November 27, 1965, son of Raymond and Marcia (Ross) Crannell. He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Thomaston, where he held the title of the official bell ringer. David enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and caring for his pet birds. Being a skilled carpenter with a generous heart, David used his many talents and gifts to help many people in need in his community with home repairs and improvements. Including his loving parents, Raymond and Marcia, David leaves behind his siblings, Susan Sundell, and her husband, Timothy, of Thomaston; and Bradley Crannell, and his wife, Laura, of Barrington, NH; his niece and nephews, Christopher, Kiersten, and Erik Sundell; longtime friend Karen Wilmot; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Davids burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 14 at Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston.
