Thomaston Mr. F. David Levesque, 70, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, September 26, at Litchfield Woods Health Care Center in Torrington after a long battle with Parkinsons. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 40 years, Lise J. (Cote) Levesque.
David was born March 19, 1953 in Waterbury, son of the late Francis W. Levesque and Mary S. (Laskowski) Marsh. Raised in Thomaston he attended local schools and graduated from Thomaston High School in 1972. He worked as a Tool Maker at Metallon, Inc in Thomaston for over 40 years.
David was an active member and past officer of the Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance Corps for over 30 years. He enjoyed reading books, especially Stephen King, playing cribbage and riding horses. Later in life he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by one son, Jordan D. Levesque of Norfolk; one daughter, Lauren E. Levesque of Brooklyn, NY; three brothers, Mark Levesque, Rick Levesque and Brian Marsh of CA; one sister, Suzanne Levesque of CA; three grandchildren, Gabriel, Ella and Quinn and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lindsey J. Levesque.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 30, at 12:00 P.M. at the Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston.
