Thomaston- Mr. Dennis P. Chesanek, 54, of Hotchkiss Ave. died Tuesday morning, December 11 at his home. He was the husband of Joan (Andrews) Chesanek. Mr. Chesanek was born March 24, 1953 in New Britain son of the late John Chesanek and the late Nora (Glynn) Chesanek MacKinnon. Raised in Plainville he attended local schools and was a graduate of Plainville High School and received his BA degree in electrical engineering from the University of Hartford. He had been employed at Superior Electric, Eaton Corp., Micrognosis and then was co-owner of Andrews Consulting, a computer sales and service company. He had a lifelong love for music and played guitar, keyboards and was a lead singer in many local bands including Abbey Road and Walrus. He spent many summers at the family cottage on Lake Champlain in New York and loved to play tennis. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Patrick T. Chesanek of Thomaston and Michael J. Donovan of Kensington; two daughters, Shana R. Chesanek of Bristol and Noralea J. Chesanek of Thomaston; one brother, John Chesanek of Tolland and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 2:00 P.M. at Our Savior Lutheran Church, South Main St. Thomaston. Burial will be private.
