Thomaston Donald W. DuBois Sr., 53, of Watertown Rd., died Monday December 21, 2009.
Mr. DuBois was born August 13, 1956, in Waterbury to Shirley (Johnson) of Maine and the late Romeo R. DuBois. He worked at R & R Napa Auto in Thomaston, part time for eighteen years with his brothers Romeo and Brian He also worked as a fabricator for Heitkamp for twenty years before having to leave on disability. He had a love for music and played guitar in a band named Aches and Pains. Don was a man of all trades. He enjoyed cooking for his sons and had a tremendous amount of love for his family.
Besides his mother, Don is survived by two sons, Donald W. DuBois Jr. of Bristol, Kevin D. DuBois of Thomaston, a brother Romeo E. and his wife Luanne DuBois of Terryville, several nieces, nephews and a good friend, Shirley Casey of Florida. He was predeceased by a brother Brian R. DuBois.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 26, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street Thomaston. A service will be at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the spring at Hillside Cemetery of Thomaston.
