Edna W. Dente- 89, of Marine Street, died Saturday August 1, 2009 at Waterbury Hospital suddenly. She was the widow of Harry J. Dente. Edna was born in Thomaston to the late Karl and Josephine Wojtysiak on November 25, 1919. She was a lifelong resident of Thomaston and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She had many enjoyments, crocheting, reading, working on jig saw puzzles, watching movies and working in her gardens, to name a few. Spending time with her grandchildren and her family was something that was cherished the most. She is survived by two daughters Katherine Jacobs of Florida, Diana McAllister of Thomaston, five grandchildren, Megan Harding, Sean Jacobs, Ashley Jacobs, Colin McAllister, Moira McAllister, three great grandchildren, Jackson and Katherine Harding, and Caroline Jacobs.
