Thomaston - Edna M. Tycenski, 96, of Thomaston passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, November 22, 2014 at Waterbury Hospital.
Edna was born on March 31, 1918 in Thomaston, daughter of the late Alexander and Anna (Waleska) Tycenski. A lifelong Thomaston resident, she attended local schools. Edna was employed at the Seth Thomas Clock Company for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary and the Thomaston Seniors. She was a communicant at St. Thomas Church.
Edna is survived by her sister, Jane Krulicki; four nieces, Christine Boccardi (Richard), Elizabeth Durante (Alfred), Aimee Keough (Martin), and Patricia Mastro (Steven); a sister-in-law, Helen Tycenski; and 10 grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Teofil, Stephen, and Edward; and two sisters, Helen and Mary Tycenski.
Arrangements: Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 E. Main St., Thomaston. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately in St. Thomas Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are asked to be made in Ednas name to St. Thomas Church, 19 Electric Ave, Thomaston, CT 06787.
