Obituary

Waterbury- Mrs. Fannie M. (Denza) Yamonica, 93, died Thursday, February 11, at the St. Marys Hospital. She was the widow of Anthony J. Yamonica. Mrs. Yamonica was born March 4, 1916 in Torrington daughter of the late Gennaro and Carmella Denza. She had been employed by Bradlees in Torrington from 1969 to 1978, working as the manager of the jewelry department. She enjoyed cooking and baking and will be remembered as a selfless caregiver for many friends and relatives. She is survived by one son, Patrick G. Yamonica of Thomaston; one brother, Marino Denza of SC; her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Denza of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, February 18, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will be in the spring in St. Francis Cemetery, Torrington.
