Thomaston - Florence Foster, 91, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Cook Willow in Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Edmund W. Foster. Mrs. Foster was born on November 3, 1925, in Waterbury, CT to the late Jessie and Margaret (Cipple) Finkle. She was an avid set back player and enjoyed horseback riding, gardening and baking. Mrs. Foster is survived by her son, William Foster, of Plymouth; her daughter, Barbara White, and her husband, Alfred, of Harwinton; her sister, Violet Kentana, of Thomaston; her 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; and extended family. Including her husband, Edmund, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Herbie Finkle and Robert Finkle. Services will be held privately. Mrs. Fosters family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Cook Willow for all the love and care theyve shown during her stay.
