Waterbury Florence Ann Roman-Stiklius, 81, of Waterbury, passed away on June 19, 2022 at the VITAS Innovative Care Unit at St. Marys Hospital. Florence was born on September 30, 1940 in Torrington, daughter of the late Dominic and Jennie (Rogozinski) Roman. Florence loved horses and rode horseback at a younger age. She also loved her dog Gizmo. Florence cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving family. Florence is survived by her four children, David, Joseph, Timothy, and Diane Stiklius Kochiss; her brother Marshall Roman and his wife Darlene; four grandchildren, Amy and Christine Stiklius, and Evan and Carter Kochiss; her niece Kelly Roman; and her sister in law Patricia Roman. Florence was predeceased by her brother Myron Roman. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on June 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston, Burial is private.
