Frances (Fran) Thompson age 94, passed into eternal life and into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Friday February 17th after a three month illness. Born in Canaan, Connecticut to Francis and Mary Consolini, Fran spent much of her adult life in Thomaston. In addition to her parents, Fran was predeceased by her husband, Robert W (1975) and son Robert F (1976) and her sister Eva Marcon. To know her was to love her. She loved to talk, cook, laugh, golf, play cards, and to cheer on the U Conn girls basketball team. She loved her friends, adored her family, especially her 4 great grandchildren with a genuine, deep love. She is survived by her granddaughter Susan Parker and husband Rob, her four great grandchildren Brandon, Rebekah, Benjamin and Luke Parker, her daughter-in-law Jeanne Thompson, her niece Linda Marcon Davis and husband Tom, her great niece Emily and great nephew Andrew as well as three great-great nieces and nephew. A Memorial Service will be held at Chippanee Golf Club 6 Marsh Road, Bristol, CT 06010 on Saturday, March 4, at 11:00 AM. A lunch at Chippanee will follow.
