Thomaston - Mr. Francis Benjamin Dorazio, 81, of Thomaston, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital. He was predeceased by his first wife, Virginia (Smith) Dorazio; and his second wife, Ann Guarnieri. Frank was born on February 27, 1936 in Plainville, CT. Son of the late Ermento and Irma (Cromach) Dorazio. Francis was a talented organist and played in many local churches including St. Thomas in Thomaston. Francis is survived by his seven children, Terry, Michael, Donna, Kathy, Anthony, Francine, and Jennifer; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his girlfriend, Christine Lytle. Family and friends may call on Monday, April 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St. Burial will follow In Silver Lane Cemetery in East Hartford.
