Northfield – Frank Grozik, 86, husband of Carolyn Grozik passed away on May 10, 2026 at Cook Willow Convalescent Home.

He was born on June 11, 1939, in Terryville. Son of the late John and Stephanie (Bobinski) Grozik. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Jeffrey Grozik, and his wife, Cathy; his sister, Irene Disbury, of Terryville; his brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Bernice Decker, of Northfield; two great granddaughters; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frank was predeceased by his sister Anna Harbart, and brother Stephen Grozik.

Prior to his retirement, he was Plant Superintendent of Thomaston Special Products and moved up to Plant Manager of the Torrington Company, both in Thomaston.

Frank will be missed by his good friends at X-Mart store in Thomaston, his card playing pals at Northfield Fire House, and his good neighbors.
