Terryville -Frederick R.R Young "Bongo", 61, died June 23, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital, in Hartford. He lived most of his life in Thomaston. Mr. Young was born August 16, 1948, in Waterbury, son of Jeannette (Zuchosky) and the late Frederick R.R. Sr. Fred attended schools in Thomaston and was a lifelong member of Thomaston Fish and Game Club as he was an avid hunter and fisher and liked to spend time with friends. He also enjoyed going to his vacation home in Maine. Fred worked for many years in construction and retired as a Union Blaster. He is survived by a son, Eric J. Young of Terryville, two brothers, William Young of Watertown, Robert Young of Terryville, a sister, Carolyn Lee of Dallas,TX ,a dear friend, Jean Young and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Towle. ARRANGEMENTS: Presently, all services are private. A memorial service will be announced at a later time.
