Thomaston - Mr. Gerald Kahn, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Shirley (Lord) Kahn. Gerald was born June 7, 1926 in New York, NY, son of the late Alexander and Mollie (Bass) Kahn. He had retired from the former Tech Systems where he had worked as a senior industrial buyer for over 17 years. In addition to his wife he is survived by one step son, Timothy Ray of Truckee, CA; two granddaughters; three nieces who were like daughters Karen Cadorette of Red Hook NY; Audrey Loftus of Red Hook; Loraine DAngelo of Cincinnati OH; five great nephews and two great grandchildren. Arrangements: Burial in Hillside Cemetery will be private. A memorial service will be held at a date and time to be announced.
