Thomaston - Mrs. Glenda Ann (Caldwell) Griswold, 77, of Thomaston, passed away on Sunday morning, July 7, 2013 at her home. Glenda was born on March 28, 1936 in Matapedia, Qubec, Canada, daughter of the late Robert and Freda (Glidden) Caldwell. She has been a United States citizen since 1953. Glenda is survived by one son, Carl Griswold and his wife, Nancy, of Thomaston; seven brothers and sisters, Fran, Lynn, Betty, Jean, Nan, Lori and Billy; six grandchildren, Jessica, Mike, Jen, Michelle, Carl and William; and several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by six brothers and sisters, Bobby, Helen, Harry, Judy, Kathy and Gail. A memorial service will be held at a later date and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made in Glendas name to a charity of the donors choice.
