Mrs. Helen (Turek) Mezocowski Northfield Helen Mezocowski, 92, formerly of Campville Rd., died on December 21, at the Torrington Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow to Edward Mezocowski. Mrs. Mezocowski was born March 17, 1916, in Terryville to the late Michael and Mary (Ichneski) Turek. Helen spent most of her life as a housewife and many years ago worked at Tech Systems. She was a member of the Thomaston Senior Citizens and communicant of St. Thomas Church of Thomaston. She leaves a daughter Barbara and her husband Stanley Gutowski of New Jersey, two sister in laws, Stasia Klimanowski, Helen Luboyeski, five grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, five nephews and one niece. She was predeceased by her son Edward Mezocowski, a sister Genevieve Kosak and a brother Michael Turek. Arrangements: A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston at 10:00 A.M. A calling hour will begin at 8:45 A.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston, CT. Burial will be in the spring at St. Thomas Cemetery.
