Helena (Ravinski) DiPesa Thomaston Helena (Ravinski) DiPesa, age 88, born 8/12/1936 in Sommerville, MA, wife of John DiPesa, passed away peacefully at Valerie Manor on May 14, 2025 after a long illness. Helena was predeceased in death by her parents William and Eleanor (Letasz) Ravinski, her brother Joseph Ravinski, and sister (and best friend) Marion Stagliola. Helena loved to do oil paintings and went to the Art School @ Harvard. She had all of her oil paintings on the walls of her home and in her room at Valerie Manor. She was a very talented painter. She loved to go shopping and loved her Shih Tzu dogs, especially her dog Angel. She was the most kind, loving, sweet person, and was loved by everyone who knew her. She worked at Thomaston Savings Bank in Thomaston as a Bookkeeper for 37 years. She enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. Helena leaves behind her husband John DiPesa, her son Mark Brennan and his wife Nancy, grandson Jason Matthew, stepchildren Teresa Brown and husband Don, Antoinette Krasnowski and husband David, John (Jeff) DiPesa and wife Susan, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family of Helena DiPesa would like to thank the staff at Valerie Manor; especially Claudia, Josh, Brett, the CNA's; and especially the girls in recreation for her care and support during her stay there. We would also like to thank the Athena Hospice care staff that cared for her in her final days. Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, on Monday, May 19, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 with burial immediately following at Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston.
