Oakville- Mrs. Ida (Levesque) Michaud, 71, died Sunday, November 13, at the Waterbury Hospital.
Mrs. Michaud was born June 14, 1940 in Clair, New Brunswick, Canada daughter of the late Alberie and Regina (Boucher) Levesque. She was raised in Clair and attended St. Therese School. She retired from the former Heminway and Bartlett Manufacturing Co. in Watertown.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Michaud and his wife Cheryl of Oakville and Ronald Michaud of Fleetwood, PA; four grandchildren, Calliope Michaud, Devin Michaud, Olivia Michaud and Ryan Michaud; one great grandson, August Ferdause; her former husband, Lucien Michaud of Baker Brook, New Brunswick, Canada; four sisters,, Marie Plourde of Newington, Emma Lang of Oxford, Rachel Albert and Joan Albert both of St. Francis, New Brunswick, Canada; three brothers, Reno Levesque of Plainville, Conrad Levesque of Central Islip, NY and Rocky Levesque of East Hartford and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Jean Guy Levesque, Greta Belanger, Doris Pinette, Gillis Levesque, Leonide Levesque and Edgar Levesque.
Arrangements: A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 17, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, November 16, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
