Thomaston- Mrs. Irene Elizabeth (Brague) Wascavage, 73, died Wednesday, September 19 at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the widow of Edward J. Wascavage. Mrs. Wascavage was born May 28, 1934 in Torrington daughter of the late John and Phanette (Hallock) Brague. Raised in Harwinton, she moved to Thomaston after her marriage and was a foster mother for many years. She is survived by one son, Edward J. Wascavage, Jr of Thomaston; two daughters, Cynthia Allison of Lumberton, Mississippi and Patricia Johnpiere of Waterbury; one sister, Adeline DAmico of Waterbury; eight grandchildren, Tanya Trudeau, Jessica Wascavage, Chris Johnpiere, Jouanna Wascavage, Joseph Johnpiere, Eric Johnpiere, Dakota Allison and Alyssa Jarvis and seven great grandchildren. Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
