Jarrod Joseph Zeigler
BETHLEHEM Jarrod J. Zeigler 24, of Magnolia Hill, died suddenly December 29, 2007.
Jarrod was born in Waterbury on March 11, 1983, son of Tammy (Layman) Gunning of Bethlehem and Guy Zeigler of Thomaston. Jarrod was a graduate of Nonnewaug High School in Woodbury. He was a Go-Kart enthusiast, a crew chief, he also raced and built them. Jarrod liked riding snowmobiles as well. He was an avid member of Nutmeg Kart Association. Jarrod worked as a serviceman at Hocon Industrial Gas in Waterbury.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his step mother Judith Zeigler, his step father William "Bo" Gunning, maternal grandparents; Fran and Jeanne Layman of Thomaston, two brothers; Justin Zeigler of Bethlehem, Danny Gunning of Torrington, three sisters; Trisha Jean Gunning of Bethlehem, Lisa Gunning of Torrington, Denise Gunning of Alabama, a nephew Tyler Zeigler of Bethlehem, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Frank and Ruth Zeigler.
Arrangements: A Funeral Mass will be Friday directly at St. Thomas Church at 10:00 A.M. Calling Hours will be Thursday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home 46 High Street Thomaston.
