Waterbury Jesse Alexander Spangenberg, 27, passed away on Monday, February 14, in Waterbury. Jesse was born July 11, 1994 in New Haven son of Alice J. (VanAvery) Spangenberg of Waterbury and Robert J. Spangenberg of Knob Noster, MO. Jesse was raised in Watertown/Oakville and was a graduate of Watertown High School. Jesse will be remembered for his love of animals and horseback riding. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Andrew R. Spangenberg and his wife Shelli of Knob Noster, MO; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Moss of Bristol; his paternal grandmother, Barbara A. Spangenberg of Knob Noster, MO; his niece Autumn; his nephew Jaiden and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 24, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Watertown Methodist Church 305 Main Street Watertown. Burial will be private.
