Jessica Tammy Fairchild

Jessica Tammy Fairchild passed away at her family home on September 19, 2026.

Born on June 24, 1994, Jessica grew up in Northfield, Connecticut with a love of nature and love for animals. Jessica loved the outdoors, weather spending time with her fur babies, planting wild flowers, or relaxing in her hammock. She enjoyed spending time on the beach, camping and hiking with her beloved dog Riot. Jessica was an accomplished equestrian in her childhood.

Her kind loving spirit shined brightest in her writings. Whether writing her thoughts in a journal, a short story, or a note in a card. Jessica's writings could bring a smile to your face, laughter to your heart, or a tear to your eye.

Jessica graduated from Wamogo High School in Litchfield, Connecticut and was a graduate of Northwestern Connecticut Community College in Winsted, Connecticut. She received the Veterinary Technology Award for her graduating class. Jessica was a Certified Veterinary Technician and was employed by Urgent Vet in New Britian and ConneCT Veterinary Care in Farmington, Connecticut. Jessica trained her dog, Riot, to be a Certified Service Animal with Mutts Mending Mankind in Bantam, Connecticut.

Jessica is survived by her parents, Mark and Linda (Beaudoin) Fairchild of Northfield, Connecticut her brother Zachary Fairchild, future sister-in-law, Jenny Famighetti and a niece, Emma Fairchild. Grandparents Thomas and Leigh Beaudoin and Grandmother Lillian Fairchild, as well as, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceded in death by her Grandfather John Fairchild, her Aunt Tammy Fairchild, her Uncle Jeffrey Fairchild and Cousin Brooke Fairchild.

Jessica, our hearts are so heavy, our only comfort is knowing you are now at peace in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. You were always loved, will never be forgotten and forever missed. Rest in Peace our precious daughter.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Lyon's Funeral Home in Thomaston from 10:00 to 12:00 with a prayer service immediately following led by Pastor Chris.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jessica at the Watertown Golf Club, 246 Guernseytown Road, Watertown from 1:00 to 3:00.
