Thomaston- Mr. John M. "Bunga" Baserwski, 53, of North Main St. Died in Thomaston. Mr. Baserwski was born April 17, 1954 in Torrington son of Cecile (Goad) Baserwski of Thomaston and the late Michael J. Baserwski. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing softball. In addition to his mother he is survived by one son, Matthew Baserwski of Naples, ME; one daughter, Lisa Fusco of Torrington; two sisters, Dorothea Sargent of Plymouth and Catherine Gura of Thomaston; several nephews and nieces and many close friends. Arrangements: A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, September 6, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. Burial of cremains will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
