Obituary

Thomaston- Judy Ann Embelton, 50, died Saturday, December 29 at her home surrounded by her family. Judy was born November 3, 1957 in Presque Isle, Maine daughter of Joanne (Cahill) Embelton of Waterbury and the late William Embelton. Judy was a member of the Womans Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5157 in Watertown. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren and was always willing to help anyone in need. In addition to her mother she is survived by two daughters, Jody Brzoska and her husband Christopher of Thomaston and Candi Fenn and her fianc Conrad Hock of Thomaston; three brothers, William Embelton of Torrington, Richard Embelton and Grafton Embelton both of Thomaston; one sister, Cynthia Knightly of Thomaston; one grandson, Hunter Hock; one granddaughter, Berlyn Brzoska; her close friend Marshall Barber; her mother-in-law Doris Fenn and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 3 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church, Thomaston. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 2 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
