Watertown Mrs. Karen (Simpson) Feero, 81, passed away on Thursday, July 14, at her home. She was the widow of Joseph A. Feero, Jr. Karen was born March 12, 1941 in Thomaston, daughter of the late Roger and Doris (Day) Simpson. Raised in Thomaston she attended local schools and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. Karen worked as a waitress for many years at the former Home Plate Restaurant in Watertown. She is survived by her children, Cindy Scheppard and her husband John of ME, Victor Lutz and his wife Ruth of Northfield, Robin Abramovich and her husband John of Woodbury, Robert Feero of Watertown and Roger Feero and his wife Danielle of GA; her step-son, Joseph Feero; her step-daughter Doris Feero; her siblings, Terry Simpson of Torrington, Lynn Cahill of Thomaston, Thomas Simpson of Terryville Henry Simpson of Bristol; Debra Sanford Thomaston; her grandchildren, Roger and Sarah Feero, Heather, Tommy and Mitch Abramovich, Randall Tilley, Adam Scheppard and Aime Curtis, Eric and Emily Lutz her Great grandchildren Cheyanne and Landon Tilley and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Jagela. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillside Cemetery in Thomaston.
