Thomaston - Mr. Keith N. Hinckley, aged 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, at his home. He was the beloved husband of Ellen (Fairchild) Hinckley. Born on August 12, 1944, in New Milford, Keith was the son of the late Horace and Gertrude (Benjamin) Hinckley. He grew up in New Preston, attended local schools, and graduated from Washington High School. In 1998, Keith and Ellen were married and moved to Thomaston. He was a dedicated employee at Tech Systems in Thomaston for nearly fifty years. Keith and Ellen shared a love for travel, and he greatly enjoyed nature in all its forms. Keith is survived by his wife Ellen, his sister-in-law Betty Hinckley of New Preston, two nephews, Steven Hinckley and his wife Barb of Becket, MA, and Todd Hinckley of Thomaston, as well as several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert 'Bob' Hinckley. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 14, at 2:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston. Friends may visit Keiths family from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Burial will be private.
