Thomaston- Kimberley A. Piercy, 15, of Fenn Rd. died Friday, September 21 at her home.
Kimberley was born February 21, 1992 in Herrin, Il daughter of Frank D. Piercy II of Winsted and Hedy (Kelley) Field of Thomaston. She was in her sophomore year at Oliver Wolcott Technical High School in Torrington, enrolled in culinary studies. Kimberley was very active in the community, she taught Sunday school at the Terryville Congregational Church, was a junior volunteer at Bristol Hospital, was involved in Girl Scouts, had volunteered at the Thomaston Public Library, was on the planning committee for the Northwest Hills Relay for Life and had studied dance for ten years.
In addition to her parents she is survived by six brothers, Frank D. Piercy III of Thomaston, Nathan Piercy of Winsted, Benjamin Piercy of Winsted, Jayden Machowski of Winsted, Jacob Field of Thomaston and Damien Piercy of Winsted; one sister, Emily S. Piercy of Thomaston; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Maria Kelley of Thomaston; paternal grandmother, Marjorie S. Piercy of Terryville; paternal great grandmother, Marjorie Hawes of Terryville; her step-mother, Tammy Piercy and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at 10:00 A.M. at the Terryville Congregational Church. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville. Calling hours are Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston.
