Thomaston - Mrs. Krista Lynn Ogren-Bunnell, 41, of Thomaston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. She was the wife of Mr. Brandon Bunnell. Krista was born on July 9, 1973 in Waterbury, daughter of Mr. Nils Ogren, Sr. and the late Lorraine Marie (Bradshaw) Ogren. She loved reading, and aspired to one day to be a writer. She wrote poetry and shorts stories, some of which had been published. Krista also enjoyed collecting jewelry. She loved her dogs, and cherished the time she was able to spend with her friends and family. Krista will be remembered as an intelligent, emotional and passionate person. Besides her husband and father, Krista is survived by her son, Kristafer Manning; daughter, Sarah Ogren; sister, Jennifer Bezio, brother, Nils Ogren Jr., brother in law, Charles Bezio; nieces, Amanda, Makenzie and Madison; and several other nieces nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Thomas Church, 1 East Main St., Thomaston. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
