Ms. Kristen Marie Spangenberg
Oakville Kristen M. Spangenberg, died suddenly January 26, 2008. She was engaged to Daniel Lucarz.
Kristen was born May 28, 1986, in New Havento Robert and Alice (VonAvery) Spangenberg. She was attending SpringfieldCollegewith the intentions of receiving her undergraduate of EMSmanagement, Medic License and Bachelor of Science Degree. Kristen was a member of The Town of Canton Fire and EMS Department and Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance. She was very determined and accomplished anything she put her mind to, she was able to be successful even with battling many health problems. Her life was working with Fire and EMS in Cantonand Thomaston. Kris was being groomed for an officer position at the Canton EMS, was always encouraging, to her friends, family and new personnel at the EMShouse. She will be remembered for being a loving, caring and humorous person, who was always willing to learn and help people.
Besides her parents and fianc, she is survived by two brothers; Andrew and Jesse Spangenberg of Watertown, maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Ramponi of Watertown, Paternal grandparents Guy and Barbara Spangenberg of Waterbury; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements: A funeral service will be held Wednesday, at 1:00 P.M. at Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High Street, Thomaston, CT06787. Calling Hours will be from 10:00 A.M. till the time of service. Burial will follow in Saint ThomasCemetery in Thomaston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Canton Fire and EMS, P.O.
