Torrington- Kristian F. Palmer, 32, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Torrington.
Kristian was born December 11, 1977 in Torrington son of Williston "Bill" Palmer of Torrington and Dorothy (Dusak) Kindness of Thomaston.
Kris was a bright and considerate young man. He was loved by his family, friends and co-workers. His love of living touched many lives. A sense of humor and a desire to help others made him a person that was respected and loved. Classic cars, motorcycles, country music, children and animals were his passion. His life was filled with a joy of living that defined who he was.
He came to the work place with a desire to do the best job possible. His meticulous manner brought his work to the label of 'craftsman'
His heart of gold and his concern for others made it a privilege to know him. He will be missed but never forgotten.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his longtime soul mate, Laurie A. Copertino of Torrington; his step-father, Sandy Kindness of Thomaston; his step-brother, Scott Palmer of Fort Worth, TX and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 1, at the Covenant Church of Thomaston at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Thomaston. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 30, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Lyons Funeral Home 46 High St. Thomaston. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the O&G Scholarship Foundation 112 Wall St. Torrington, CT 06790.
