Thomaston- Mr. Leonard A. Denzio, 87, died Wednesday, December 17 at Abbott Terrace Health Center in Waterbury. He was the husband of the late Angeline (DiVergilio) Denzio.
Mr. Denzio was born July 25, 1921 in Waterbury son of the late Domenic and Theresa (Mancini) Denzio. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and had served honorably in the United States Army during WWII. He had retired form the Chase Brass and Copper Company.
He is survived by two daughters, Lenora Becce and Mary Ann Marino both of Thomaston; one sister, Yolanda Pani of FL; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Louis Denzio and two sisters, Grace Ensero and Phyllis Piazzaroli.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 19 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Church in Thomaston. There are no calling hours. Burial with military honors will be in Hillside Cemetery in the spring.
